Origins

The Church of the Holy Cee was founded in the Third Era as a response to the Church of Satanism that existed during the Second Era in the Kingdom of Helmsdeep.

Teachings

According to the mythology of the Church of the Holy Cee, Coetzeeclan Viromaro died at the end of the Second Era due to the dark armies of the Kingdom of Helmsdeep, who were led by the teachings of the Helmsdeep Church of Satanism, which was headquartered in what is now the White-Gold Tower. However, seeing the chaos and famine of the Minecraftian Dark Ages, God decided to resurrect Viromaro with the purpose of uniting all of Minecraftia once and for all. Followers of the Church are taught to be loyal to Viromaro and to help in achieving Minecraftian Unity, which is God’s will. The godless inhabitants of the Imperius Reich are considered infidels who must be assimilated into the Church.

Mythology

According to the Holy Cee, there are two diametrically opposed deities in the universe. The ‘Good’ God of Light and Order, known as Fajro, and the ‘Evil’ God of Darkness and Discord, known as Malhela.

When time began, the universe was filled with chaos and drenched in darkness. This dark period ended with Fajro first creating light, through the Sun, the Moon and the stars, and then creating the Overworld. He filled this new world with a great many species of plants and animals, and he instilled in them, through his greatest light a.k.a. the Sun, a love and admiration for Him.

This made Malhela extremely jealous, and out of spite he began corrupting Fajro’s creation. This corruption ultimately resulted in the creation of the Nether. When Fajro discovered what Malhela had been doing, he was greatly angered, and he punished him most severely.

First, he blinded Malhela through his Light, so that he may never again see Fajro’s paradise. Then, he banished him into the Void, trapping him under a layer of the blessed Divine Stone known as Bedrock.

In the millennia that followed, Malhela would remain trapped within the Void. His Demons, who still inhabited the Nether, did however manage to influence some mortals who traveled through the Nether after the discovery of the Inter dimensional Portal. This, over the centuries, allowed mortals to acquire dark books containing the secrets of Malhela, and pushing some to use Blood Magic to break open or weaken parts of the Bedrock Layer.

The Church of the Holy Cee has an adjacent Brotherhood known as the Knights of Fajro. This band of warrior monks has as their main objective finding Dark Books, temples dedicated to Malhela, and worshippers of the dark lord, and destroying them.
