Helmsdeep Church of Satanism

The Helmsdeep Church of Satanism was founded during the Second Era. It was the state religion of the Kingdom of Helmsdeep. Headquartered in what was known at the time as The Cathedral, today the White Gold Tower, its teachings that the powerful should rule over the weak gave rise to the Raids on the Riverlands and would eventually lead to the Great Grief.

Although the Church was involved with Nether Worship, all records of this have been lost to history.

Today

In the modern era the Church is considered a dead religion, with no official followers alive anymore. Being a follower of the Church is illegal in the Kythiran Empire, and if caught will result in the follower being executed.
