The Ancient Houses

The Ancient Houses are noble Houses that existed during the First Era, in which time they were considered Minecraftia's Overlords.

All of them made their early wealth through controlling local mining companies. Some Houses, like Hurdræber, expanded their industry into agriculture. House Viromaro, House Vinkhuys, House Hurdræber and House Von Roterstein originally cooperated, living in the now-ruined First House. After the destruction of that home, they moved to seperate homes, and began expanding their wealth individually, though usually cooperating with other Overlords, ensuring their shared control of Attica and maintaining their safety against the tribes and savages from beyond Oldspawn.

Members of the Ancient Houses founded the kingdoms of Kythira, Helmsdeep and Redstonia. The Ancient Houses were also responsible for creating the secret societies of the Redstone Alliance, the Rebel Alliance and the TNT Alliance.

Of the eight Ancient Houses, 3 still hold significant political power and 2 have gone extinct.

They all originate from the Kingdom of Attica, specifically the Riverlands region. The Ancient Houses are, in no particular order:
