House Vonweli
House Vonweli were an Ancient House and Overlords during the First and Second Era, who founded and ruled the Kingdom of Helmsia from its founding till its destruction during the Great Grief.
History
House Vonweli earned their status as Overlords during the First Era by serving as mercenaries to the other Overlords of the Riverlands, modern day Attica. They created the first army in Minecraftia, offering their services to the highest bidders, usually protecting mines and other assets of the Overlords.
Once House Viromaro, another Ancient House and Overlords in the Riverlands, travelled south to establish the Kingdom of Kythira, Lord Stevan Vonweli moved further south, claiming the Helms Mountain, so called for resembling a long helmet, and establishing the Kingdom of Helmsia, proclaiming himself king.
After winning a series of wars with Kythira and generations of raids into the Riverlands, the Houses Vonweli of Helmsdeep, Viromaro of Kythira and Von Roterstein of Redstonia formed the Redstone Alliance. Together they destroyed the United Federation of Provinces, and maintained a period of relative peace in Minecraftia until the Alliance fell apart. This was followed by the conquest of Kythira and the near extinction of House Viromaro, in the aftermath of which House Von Roterstein betrayed their own alliance with House Vonweli, resulting in the last Vonweli king being mauled to death by Redstonian war hounds in De Kathedraal, which ended the Vonweli dynasty.
