The Ancient Houses are noble Houses that existed during the First Era, in which time they were considered Minecraftia's Overlords. All of them made their early wealth through controlling local mining companies. Some Houses, like Hurdræber, expanded their industry into agriculture. House Viromaro, House Vinkhuys, House Hurdræber and House Von Roterstein originally cooperated, living in the now-ruined First House. After the destruction of that home, they moved to seperate homes, and began expanding their wealth individually, though usually cooperating with other Overlords, ensuring their shared control of Attica and maintaining their safety against the tribes and savages from beyond Oldspawn.
