Redstone Alliance

The Redstone Alliance, known also as the R.A. or simply The Alliance, was a supranational secret military order that was founded during the Second Era. Its primary goal was to maintain peace between the kingdoms of Helmsdeep, Redstonia and Kythira after the War of the Valley Lands.

The secondary purpose of the Alliance was to coordinate the raids in Attica, and ensuring that the other former Overlords from Attica would not be able to unite against the Kingdoms.

At the end of the Second Era, the Alliance began to fall apart, soon after which the Ancient World was destroyed by the Great Grief.

Founding

During the War of the Valley Lands, knights from both the Kingdom of Redstonia and the Kingdom of Helmsdeep had cooperated on the battlefield,

After the War of the Valley Lands an alliance was forged between the three kingdoms. The negotiations for which were held in the Sverdpalass, and were initiated by King Hurdræber and King Von Roterstein. After the Alliance was formally formed, King Viromaro of Kythira constructed a tower, the highest in the world, in honor of the Alliance, as well as a secret headquarters located under the World Embassy.

Inner Workings

Every Sunday night the three kings would travel to the World Embassy to enter the secret meeting hall of the Alliance, known simply as the Red Hall. Only the three kings would be permitted to enter, with each carrying a ring that combined allowed the doors to the Red Hall to be opened.

Here, they would discuss events of the past week, plan future operations, and resolve any disputes that might be straining their allegiances. These discussion would often lead deep into the night, with King Viromaro attempting to maintain Kythiran control, King Hurdræber always threatening the other two kings, and King Whazajottom often randomly leaving the table to go play a small portable piano he would bring with him to all meetings.

Much of the Redstone Alliance's codes and methods had a distinct Helmsdeepian influence. They believed themselves to be not just kings, but the last of the great Overlords of the First Era, and that their power, wealth and strength made them superior to the people of Attica and the other Ancient Houses.

Anti-R.A. Movements

In response to the actions of the R.A., the remaining Overlords of Attica began uniting in various groups to fight the Alliance. These counter movements were the Federation of Provinces, the Rebel Alliance, and the TNT Alliance.

Although being a founding member, after the raids began the Kingdom of Kythira started to covertly aid groups that were fighting the R.A. through financing, intelligence and supplying weapons and armour.

Ultimately the resistance movements had varying succes.

• The Federation led by the Overlord R. Agricola managed to partially unite Attica against the Alliance, but a large scale attack on their headquarters by the combined armies of the Alliance resulted in the death of Agricola and the dissolution of the Federation.

• The Rebel Alliance, led by the Overlord J. Vinkhuys always focused on guerrilla warfare against the Alliance. With Kythiran financing they were able to construct Fort Spawnkeep, which was soon conquered by the armies of Helmsdeep and Redstonia. Overlord Vinkhuys survived, his identity remaining hidden, through a series of secret tunnels installed by Kythiran engineers. After this defeat the Rebel Alliance remained in the background, dissolving during the Minecraftian Dark Ages.
• The TNT Alliance, led by the Overlords Von Dragestein and Mace, managed through familial relations with the Kythiran royal family to evade conflict with the R.A. After the founding of the Imperius Reich in the Third Era, the TNT Alliance was reformed into the Unific Order.
