Emperor Coetzee is the ruler of the Kythiran Empire and the most powerful person within the Kythiran Empire. His full title is Crown Prince Whazajottom of Kythira, High-Lord of Ardoragh and Knight of the Tower.

History

Emperor Coetzeeclan began as Lord Coetzeeclan, one of the First Men, and co-creator of the First Home, which ruins are today located in Oldspawn. After having his own home of wood for a while, Coetzeeclan decided to search for more power and control over the world. He traveled south, and on the King's Mountains began building the castle-town of Kythira, and he declared the lands around it to be his kingdom of the same name. This event ended the relatively peaceful First Era, and threw the world into the turmolous eras to follow.

Though the most powerful man in the world for a while, this position was soon threatened by King Mercenary, another of the First Men whom had founded the nation of Helmsdeep past the Valley Lands. Emperor Coetzeeclan, wishing to stop this threat to his power monopoly, tried to kill the new nation with sanctions, but soon fell into a bitter war where the Kythirans, though winning on the military terms, lost due to terrorism and guerilla tactics. For the rest of the Second Era Kythira would try to regain their power, contending with Helmsdeep and the new nation of Redstonia. In the end however, before they could take on Helmsdeep, they fell into the post Second Era dark ages as the world experienced the Great Grief. Coetzeeclan, though his country lay in ruins, survived the onslaught, and during these dark ages began rebuilding on the ruins.

Coetzeeclan Today

Today Emperor Coetzeeclan rules the oldest and most powerful Empire in the world, though cracks are beginning to appear that show that the old absolute monarchy is in decline after a long series of reforms that the Emperor had hoped would make ruling the massive Empire more effective.

Lifestyle

Having virtually unlimited wealth, the Emperor enjoys the finer things in life and as a direct result has become rather lacks in the affairs of state, his last significant acts of state being to appoint a successor and striking the Everlasting Peace deal with the Empire of Imperius. Most of the time, the Emperor is seen either resting in one of his many palaces, commissioning renovations or constructing new homes across his Empire. He usually resides in Villa Mar Soleado on the Mediori Sea or wonders across the Imperial Library in the White-Gold Tower. He also writes a lot, and many Kythiran literary classics are from his hand.

Though technically the second-most powerful province of the Empire due to the capital of Helmira being in the Heartlands, in all other aspects he rules the most powerful province in terms of sheer resources, land and population. However, the expanse of the Province of [[Ardoragh]] has some hurdles that the provincial government in [[Alralysva]] tries to overcome, mainly in terms of infrastructure.

-One noticeable difference between the Prince and the Imperial Family is their lifestyles. Whilst the Kythiran Imperial Family tends to live a luxurious highlife, with the House Coetzee owning many lavish palaces and villas across the Empire, all primarily paid for by taxation of the Golden Provinces, the House Whaza and the Prince tend to live a more down to earth lifestyle, choosing to have only a small palace in [[Alralysva]] and only holding [[Mörkren|Fort Mörkren]] for defensive purposes and the Ardoragh Palace since they were forced to accept it. In fact, the personal castle of the Prince's brother, Duke Corspin, in [[Kreonix]] is much larger than the Alralysva Palace. Even so, the Prince barely uses his palace at all, preferring to stay on the move across his Province.

It resembles a diary in where he writes down stuff he did that day, and tends to write little jokes, stories or even smaller guides to redstone contraptions. Besides that events that happened in Minecraftia can be found in The Book as well, however these tend to be written from his point of view and may receive heavy critics as well. Not only is his opinion found merely about events, it is quite everywhere. As can be read in the first few parts of The Book, where even the Emperor is not being spared. The series originated from the imprisonment of Whazajottom by Emperor CoetzeeClan, where he was given a little booklet to use as a diary for his days in prison.
