Leonard Von Roterstein
Leonard Von Roterstein was the second Grand Chancellor to serve under Emperor Francis Viromaro. The younger brother of the High-Lord of Ardoragh, he was handpicked by the Emperor upon his ascension to the throne to mend relations with the Province of Ardoragh, after the tumultuous start of Ardoragh's joining of the Empire under his father, Richard I Viromaro.
Born in Alralysva, the young Prince Leonard, back when Ardoragh was still a small independent kingdom during the early Third Era, was educated as an artillery officer. When the Kythiran forces eventually arrived under the leadership of Emperor Richard I Viromaro, the young Prince Leonard helped negotiate the deal that established the Province of Ardoragh as a part of the greater Kythiran Empire, knowing the benefits for Ardoragh of joining this new Empire.
For this, he was rewarded by being named Knight of the Tower, one of the highest honours of the Empire. When Richard I Viromaro died, his son, now Emperor Francis the Giant Viromaro, requested that Leonard travel to Helmira to serve as the new Grand Chancellor.
In this role, he was a popular leader, successfully supplying Ardoragh with supplies, Florynts and manpower whilst maintaining a high degree of autonomy for the province. With the direct involvement of Leonard in the Conquest of the Confederacy of Ragh he ensured the formation of Ardoragh's great size as it still stands today.
