Leonard Von Roterstein was the second Grand-Chancellor to serve under Emperor Francis Viromaro. He was very influential in the imperial court, cementing a long and prosperous relationship between the Houses of Viromaro and Von Roterstein.

Youth

Leonard was born the second son of the last true King of Ardoragh. At the age of nine he was send to Helmira by his father as a ward to House Viromaro. He grew up in the old Imperial Palace together with the 5 Viromaro princes, where he became good friends with prince Francis Viromaro, seeing him akin to an older brother. As a young adult he joined the Kythiran Royal Army as a Captain, in which capacity he served as an artillery officer during several battles of the Unification of Westeria.

Grand Chancellor

When Emperor Richard I died prince Francis became the new Kythiran Emperor, and he ordered Leonard to return to Helmira. Here, he was offered the role of Grand Chancellor.

For this, he was rewarded by being named Knight of the Tower, one of the highest honours of the Empire. When Richard I Viromaro died, his son, now Emperor Francis the Giant Viromaro, requested that Leonard travel to Helmira to serve as the new Grand Chancellor.

In this role, he was a popular leader, successfully supplying Ardoragh with supplies, Florynts and manpower whilst maintaining a high degree of autonomy for the province. With the direct involvement of Leonard in the Conquest of the Confederacy of Ragh he ensured the formation of Ardoragh's great size as it still stands today, whilst also giving it many of its unique freedoms it still enjoys to this day, and which it defended together with the other Big Three with the Reforma Carta. He was also responsible for ordering the construction of the Great Pyramid of Kythira.

Leonard was dismissed after the death of Emperor Francis and the ascension of Emperor Henry II. He moved back to Alralsyva, where he died. Uniquely, he was buried
