Theodosia Viromaro
Empress Theodosia Viromaro is the current head of state of the Kythiran Empire. She has ruled since the start of the Fifth Era, ever since her father, the former Emperor Louis Viromaro, was forced to abdicate in favour of her by the Reforma Carta, following the defeat during the Kythiran Invasion of Imperius. Her rule has been characterised by mending relations with the Raggisar Republic, increasing public support of House Viromaro, and improving relations between the six kingdoms and The Crown. She is the first ruling member of House Viromaro who does not enjoy absolute control.
Her full formal title is: "Her Imperial Highness Theodosia of House Viromaro, High-Queen of Attica, High-Queen of Ardoragh, High-Queen of Alcanzar, High-Queen of Camuria, High-Queen of the Heartlands and High-Queen of Redstonia, Grand Duchess of Helmira, Empress of all Kythirans."
Youth
Princess Theodosia Viromaro was born in the in the late Fourth Era in Fort Winterhal. She grew up in the Imperial Palace in Helmira. Once her younger brother, Prince Charles Viromaro was born two years later, it was assumed she would be married off in the future but would serve no further role in government. She studied medicine at both the Imperial University in Helmira as well as the Ardoria University. She was known as a hardworking, quiet student. In Ardoragh she was a frequent guest of House Hjarta, using her access to the Viromaro fortune to help support their efforts of conserving Ardoragh's rich nature reserves. In Alcanzar she unsuccessfully petitioned High-Lord Vinkhuys to give the slaves more rights, including half a day every week off.
When the Kythiran Invasion of Imperius began, she and her brother, Crown Prince Charles Viromaro, were called back to Helmira to join the war effort. Charles was promoted to Admiral, and was put in charge of the Second Attican Fleet. Theodosia was send to Imperius, serving as a nurse in Dorwall and Chesterfield. When the war began to turn, she was send back to Helmira, where she took up residence in the Villa Altojardin.
Ascension to Power
The Reforma Carta suddenly brought Princess Theodosia back into the forefront. Article X stated:
"(...) the Emperor must abdicate his throne in favour of his first-born child, Princess Theodosia Viromaro.".
The Imperial Chancellor immediately took Theodosia under his guidance.
