The House Hjarta, once known as the House Hjarta-Viromaro, is a noble houses originating from western Ardoragh. They are known for their palatial home, one of the largest in the world, and for their contributions to the preservation of nature across the Empire.

Origins

The House of Hjarta were originally petty Lords and Knights, in service to the Dukes of Kreonix. During the Fourth Era, however, the daughter of Lord Hjarta was betrothed to H.I.H. Prince Amantis Viromaro, fourth in line to the throne after his three older brothers. This wedding was an attempt by the Emperor to strengthen the bonds within the Empire even further. The wedding festivities were especially legendary, taking place over multiple weeks, with grand balls in Helmira, Ardoria and Solleria, with the actual wedding ceremony itself taking place in the throne room of the White Gold Tower.

For the first few years of their marriage, the couple lived in the remote Sanssouci Palace, in the northern Riverlands, whilst their own home, the grand Fjarthrond Palace, was being constructed in the Hjarta ancestral grounds of western Ardoragh. Using his access to the Viromaro fortune, this palace became of the largest in the world, richly decorated and enhanced with some of the largest halls in all of Minecraftia. For a time, all of Kythira's foremost masters of stained glass were in the employment of the couple, making the massive windows possible.
