KSS Goliath

The Kythiran Steam Ship Goliath is an large ocean liner created by the Kythiran Black Star Line in the early Fifth Era. It was made as a direct competitor to the RRS Regent owned by the Raggisari Fulton-Wallraf Line. It is much smaller than the 155 meter SS Regent, standing at only 94 meters in length. It is powered by six Imperian Paddle Wheels bought from the Raggisari post-war surplus, as well as two Marsadinian Propellers. All of these are however rather small, making the ship perpetually under powered according to her captains.

It has twenty first class cabins with private balconies and king sized beds. Furthermore it has 18 Second Class cabins with 3 single beds each, making her total passenger capacity 94 people. There is a luxurious first class restaurant with large panoramic windows and a skylight, and directly next to it the second class dining hall. There are two covered promenades, and a sundeck with ample seating. Under the ship is a small underwater viewing port.

It has a large bridge with controls for all eight engines, as well as a Datablock Industries Emergency SOS Signal.

There are four small lifeboats hanging on the sides, as well as three lifeboats stationed on the decks themselves, and a large sailboat on the back of the ship, totaling eight lifeboats. According to Charles Bateau, the Director of the Kythiran Black Star Line, the ship is one of the safest in Minecraftia, and "although she is not the fastest, best armed nor most beautiful, she nonetheless excels in reliability."
