Kingdom of Helmsia

The Kingdom of Helmsia was the most powerful state during much of the Second Era. It was the second kingdom to arise, a few years after the Kingdom of Kythira was founded. During its entire history, Helmsians were well known as a warrior race. Their Raids on the Riverlands resulted in a mass exodus escaping east, forming the Kingdom of Redstonia, as well as groups of people in the Riverlands uniting under the banner of the United Federation of Provinces and the Rebel Alliance, all to protect themselves against the Helmsians. When the Kingdom of Kythira attempted to stop the Raids, they were attacked and defeated during the War of the Valley Lands.
