Narrow Sea
The Narrow Sea is a great and ancient sea between the Empire of Kythira and the Imperius Reich. Functioning as a natural border, it still is a place of diplomatic conflicts over several disputed islands. Today it also serves as the most important international trade route between the two empires.
History
The Narrow Sea received its name during the Third Era. Prior to this there was no knowledge of the continent Eastera - only the Island of Dorwall had been spotted but not explored - and since it was the only large body of water, it, together with what is today the Southern Sea, was colloquially referred to simply as 'The Ocean'.
The Narrow Sea was vital during the Second Era as a means of contact between the Kingdoms of Helmsdeeps and Kythira with Redstonia.
