Forum of Minecraftia

The Forum of Minecraftia, often simply called The Forum, is the continuation of the World Embassy. Like the World Embassy, which was founded by King William I Viromaro during the Second Era, The Forum was also founded by a Viromaro, namely Emperor Richard I Viromaro. Also like the World Embassy before it it is located in the Kythiran capital, and both were officially supranational organisations.

Origins

The World Embassy was the first attempt at creating international diplomatic ties in order to promote peace between peoples. It was built by the Kingdom of Kythira, but only hosted a small number of international peace councils. With Kythira joining the Redstone Alliance, the World Embassy became an organization on paper only, never hosting another council. 

Today the site of the World Embassy is still open to the public. Aside from the Embassy itself, one can find a small prison cell, the Redstone Alliance council, and the main execution block of the Kythiran Empire.

After the end of the Minecraftian Dark Ages Emperor Richard I Viromaro felt the need to restore an independent body to handle conflicts both within and outside of the Empire. To this end the Forum of Minecraftia was created, a supranational organisations with a small governing Council of Ten that rotates every five years.

The Buildings

The Great Forum

The Forum of Minecraftia's oldest building and official headquarters is the Great Forum, a large glass domed hall in Helmira, the largest glass dome at the time of her construction. It is divided into three places where representatives can speak. The glass dome symbolises the transparency that the organization hopes to maintain, whilst the sun symbol on the floor symbolises the eternal universe. Outside is a long reflection pool with a series of colomns lining it.

The International Peace Palace

The International Peace Palace, often called the Sandstone Palace for its building materials, is a palace with private gardens next to the Great Forum. It houses two conference halls for private talks.

The Villa Altojardin

The Villa Altojardin is used as a guesthouse for guests of both the Imperial family and the Forum of Minecraftia.

The Villa Altojardin and the International Peace Palace are owned by House Viromaro and the Kythiran Crown respectively, but they are on a lease to the Forum with a symbolic single Florynt payment every year.
