On this site you can find the most comprehensive collection of information of the world of Minecraftia currently available. All information is based on eyewitness accounts, the historical epic 'Historia', archaeological digs, and on-site verification.

The Kythiran Empire

Minecraftia during the Fourth Era

Minecraftia's oldest and largest nation, ruled by House Viromaro. A constitutional monarchy made up of six kingdoms united under the Imperial crown.

The Raggisar Republic

Born out of the ashes of the Imperius Reich, following a revolution, civil war and foreign invasion in the late Fourth Era, the Raggisar Republic has emerged as Minecraftia's largest democracy.

The Aqumis Republic

The oldest still existing republic located in the south of Minecraftia, spread out over a series of tropical islands. After a great revolution, the islands, formerly slave colonies of the Kythiran Empire, managed to win their freedom and independence.

History

Mythic Era

Little is known about this time before recorded history. Local legends and ruins are all that remains. What is true and false is heavily debated in the universities of Minecraftia.

First Era

First large settlements in Attica. Time of Overlords and peasants.

Second Era

Minecraftia's first three Kingdoms are established. They fight several wars, unite under a secret alliance until ultimately all fall to the Great Grief.

Minecraftian Dark Ages

The Old World is largely destroyed, warlords fight over the remains of the former kingdoms and the lands beyond. Survivors of one kingdom flee west. At the end of the Dark Ages a Kythiran army reemerges from their underground fortress. They conquer the Old World, strike a deal with House Von Dragestein, who go on to establish the Imperius Reich, and welcome Ardoragh into their newly founded Kythiran Empire.

Third Era

The Kythiran Empire and the Imperius Reich continue to expand, settling new lands, building new cities and improving upon the old ones.

Fourth Era

The Pax Minecraftia rules the land. Although the occassional arms race and minor conflicts happen between the two world powers, life is generally peaceful. Cities expand and trade blossums. In the last few decades of the Fourth Era, a series of international incidents, a genocide in Imperius and a revolution ultimately result in the Kythiran Invasion of Imperius, the largest war in history, culminating in the fall of the Von Dragestein monarchy, the reformation of the Imperius Reich into the Raggisar Republic, and the establishment of the Reforma Carta in the Kythiran Empire, ending the absolute rule of the Viromaro dynasty and replacing it with a constitutional monarchy.

Fifth Era

A fragile global peace has emerged from the ashes of war. House Viromaro, under the Empress Theodosia Viromaro, tries to keep the Empire together after the war and the Reforma Carta. The President of the newborn Raggisar Republic has the difficult task of rebuilding a war torn empire whilst improving his international relations.
