Valley Lands

The Valley Lands as seen from King's Mountains as they were during the First Era. In the distance are the Helms Mountains. On the top of the right side of the Helms Mountains today stands the Mercenary Bank.

The Valley Lands, today located in the Kythiran province of the Heartlands, were a important piece of contested land between the Kingdoms of Helmsdeep and Kythira during the Second Era. They were the center of the War of Two Kings, but today have all but vanished after the city of Helmira was founded, and the Valley Lands were turned into a internal harbour.
