The city of Solleria is the capital of Alcanzar, a warm and inviting city, overlooked by Castle Verano in the North, home to the High Lord of Alcanzar, and Summerhall Palace in the west, the summer palace of the Kythiran Royals. Solleria started with the great wooden tower in the east, as an outpost of the Kingdom of Helmsdeep during the Second Era.

After the destruction of the Helmsdeep fleet and the Kythirans blocking the entrance to the Narrow Sea, the Helmsdeep elite decided to expand southwards, first founding the city of Marsadini and eventually starting a fleet on what is now the Cape of Sol.

Solleria is the smallest capital city in Kythira based on surface area, which reflects the province of Alcanzar's relative financial poverty.
