Redstone Alliance

As tensions started to grow between the world's kingdoms and the Spawnlands, an alliance was created by the Kingdoms of Redstonia and Helmsdeep. Soon, the Kingdom of Kythira was invited under the threat of force to join the alliance as well. This 'Redstone Alliance' had two main purposes: Maintain (temporary) peace between the three kingdoms, and form a united front during the famous raids on the Spawnlands.

In order to prove their loyalty to the Alliance, in an attempt to keep Helmsdeep raiders away, the Kythirans erected a grand tower on their tallest mountain as a sign of tribute. Underneath the World Embassy they also constructed a secret room, to be used for meetings of the Alliance's members. The Kythirans also discovered the world's first stronghold, and refitted it to become a secretive base for the Alliance.

In response to the Redstone Alliance and the increasingly frequent raids on the Spawnlands, two organizations started to appear to counter the Redstone Alliance. The Federation of Provinces was created in an attempt to unite the Spawnlands under one banner, but ultimately failed when their castle was besieged by the Redstone Alliance.

Another group, led by Lord Vinkhuys, formed the Rebel Alliance. Secretly aided by the Kythirans, the Rebel Alliance would patrol the streets and, although unable to stop the raids, would be a thorn in the Redstone Alliance's side for the rest of its existence.

The Alliance managed to maintain an unstable peace until its end during the Great Grief.
