The capital city of Kythira. The construction of the original city ushered in the end of the First Era. It is the oldest fortified city in the world. In the Third Era, during the creation of the Kythiran Empire, the capital city of Kythira was united with the former capital of Helmsdeep, followed with massive renovations and expansions. This created the city of Helmira as we know it today, the largest, blockiest and richest city in the Empire.
