			The history of Minecraftia is split up in several periods called “eras.” The end and consequently start of an Era is caused by significant historical events.

			The Five Eras of Minecraftia can be described as such:

			First Era:

			Time of hunter-gatherers and noble farmers.

			Second Era:

			Time of kingdoms, although in the modern day these would more aptly be called city states

			Minecraftian Dark Ages:

			A period of chaos and unrest after the fall of all kingdoms due to the Great Grief at the end of the Second Era

			Third Era:

			Rebirth of the Kingdom of Kythira, conquest of the old world and the lands beyond. Across the Narrow Sea the future Empire of Imperius begins to form.

			Fourth Era:

			With two Empires reigning over the world, a period of long peace is ushered in. Although the occasional conflicts still occur, the world has never seen such prosperity before.

			Fifth Era:

			After the fall of the Von Dragestein dynasty at the end of the Fourth Era, following the Dervich Incident, the Kythiran Empire is now the sole monarchy left in the world. With independence movements popping up all across Minecraftia the future is uncertain.
